CSR: “TOHO for Taal” A Community Project

After 42 years, Taal Volcano erupted again. The last time it erupted was in October 1977, though several incidents of volcanic unrest were recorded in 2011, 2012, and 2014.

The January 2020 eruption has affected thousands of families and caused millions-worth of damage just days after the initial eruption on the 12th day of January.

TOHO reached out to the families affected by the recent volcanic eruption and provide help for some of their daily needs. Employees also participated and provide them in person.

“To see the smiles on their faces, makes us also happy. We did our best to reach out all the families that we can, but we can’t provide help for all of the affected.”
